" DIDGE & BASS meets DRUM & BASS"

Durch die variantenfrohe Kombinierung des Didgeridoos mit anderen Musikstilen ergeben sich neue interessante Synergien und Reize. Daher setzt man am 06.08.2010 in der Postgarage auf eine Fusion von Didgeridoo mit feinstem Drum´n Bass auf Vinyl. Als internationalen Hauptact holt sich 11 SHOWS niemand geringeren als Matt Gresham aka „LOGISTICS“, das jüngste Mitglied aus der „Hospital family“, einen der derzeit meist umworbenen DJs in der internationalen Szene.

Mit dem Grazer Didgeridoo-Schlagzeug-Duo „Air Rapide“, dem FM4 DJ „Slack Hippy“, DJ Patrick Kielmann aus Berlin, DJ Blah und den „Natural Soundsystem DJ“ geht der Abend spätestens dann ins Finale, wenn Mario Pall (Didge-Spieler von RhythMen und Air Rapide) zur Musik der DJ´s spielt!

At 22 years old, Matt Gresham aka LOGISTICS is the youngest member of the Hospital family.

He's only been making tunes for a couple of years but has exploded onto the scene in the last few months with his epic soundscapes and dubbed-out b-lines. Matt recently left his graphic design course at Goldsmiths in London to take on producing full time; a wise move with DJs like GROOVERIDER and BRYAN GEE busting his dubs left, right and centre! Matt's also got tracks forthcoming on LIQUID V, INNERGROUND and CIA, and he's collaborated with his brother NU:TONE for their NU:LOGIC project, the results of which can be heard on the WEAPONS OF MASS CREATION LP in the shape of 7" jazz-step nugget "On and On".

Outside of drum+bass Matt has a keen eye for graphic design; no doubt this is something to look out for on his forthcoming 12" sleeves! and... in keeping with Hospital artists unique hair styles, Matt hasn't visited a barbers in years, preferring to get busy with the scissors and trim his barnet himself!

Slack Hippy (AUT)

Seit 1991 lebt der gebürtige Londoner in Wien und betätigt sich regelmäßig in den angesagtesten Clubs der Stadt, im restlichen Österreich und auch europaweit als DJ. Er ist Resident-DJ der freitags ausgestrahlten Radioshow "La Boum De Luxe" auf FM4 und Co-Host sowie Initiator der monatlichen FM4-Breakbeat-Show "Dogs Bollocks". Slack Hippy hat sich als technisch versierter DJ einen Namen gemacht, der viele musikalische Überraschungen in seiner Plattenbox bereithält und einen guten Instinkt für die Zufriedenstellung der musikhungrigen Crowd aufweist. Musikalisch interessiert Slack Hippy alles zwischen 80bpm und 180bpm - seine geheime Liebe ist jedoch der deep underground D&B.
